Terms of Service
Effective 9 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Dirz Pty Ltd, trading as Dirz ("we", "us"), for using dirz.com.au and its directory submission service. By creating an account, including by continuing with Google, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you use Dirz for a business, you agree to these terms on its behalf.
- Give accurate details and keep your login secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- If you sign in with Google, Google's terms also apply to that sign-in.
What we do
You give us your business website. We build a listing from it, including details such as your ABN, phone, address, licences and opening hours, which you can review and edit, and our AI agents submit it to the Australian directories in your plan that accept your business, using a browser, creating an account on each where needed. Every account uses an email alias and password we generate, and its login is shown in your dashboard.
You authorise us to submit your listing, create those accounts, and receive and act on directory emails on your behalf. Directories are run by third parties. They decide whether to accept, publish, edit or remove a listing, and their own terms apply to it. We don't control their sites, their link attributes (such as nofollow) or their traffic, and we don't promise any search ranking, traffic or sales.
Your site and content
- You must own or be authorised to promote every business and site you add, and have the right to use its name, logo, photos and text. You keep ownership of them and give us a licence to use them only to provide the service.
- Your site and listing must be lawful and honest. We may refuse or stop work on sites with illegal, adult, gambling, malware, misleading or infringing content, or that a directory's rules don't allow.
- Your business details, including your ABN, licence numbers, address and phone, must be accurate and current. Check them before submissions start: we submit what's in your listing. We never invent an ABN, licence or review on your behalf.
Plans, payment and live-listing targets
- Plans, Listing refresh and Full catalog are one-time payments. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Payments are processed by Stripe, and a tax invoice is emailed with each one.
- Each plan has a target number of live listings within 30 days of your site's details being ready. It's a target, not a promise. When a directory rejects or removes your listing, we submit to the next one in line while there are directories left to try. Listings waiting for approval for more than 21 days stop counting toward it. Directories that need a step only you can do, such as a phone, postcard or ID check, are flagged in your dashboard and don't count toward it until you finish that step. Directories decide what they publish and can remove a listing at any time, so we can't promise any listing stays live.
- Upgrades cost the difference between plans and add only directories your business hasn't been sent to.
- Full catalog submits your business to every directory in the catalog that accepts it and it hasn't been sent to yet. It has no live-listing target: directories decide what they publish, and many publish only some submissions.
- Keep listed is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from "Manage billing" in your dashboard; it stops at the end of the period you've paid for.
Refunds
Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that they're provided with due care and skill. If we fail to meet one, you're entitled to the remedies the law provides. Apart from that, because submissions start soon after payment and can't be undone, we don't offer change-of-mind refunds once submissions have begun. If you paid but no submissions have been made yet, email us for a full refund.
Your listings and logins
The directory accounts we create are yours. You can see and download their logins at any time and change them. If you change a password without telling us, refreshes and rechecks on that listing may fail. Each directory's terms govern your account there, including keeping it.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Dirz: no attempts to break or overload it, access other people's accounts or data, reverse engineer it, resell it without our permission, or use it to send spam. We may suspend or close accounts that do, or that break these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Closing your account
You can stop using Dirz and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Listings already published stay on their directories, and you keep their logins. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
Disclaimers and liability
Apart from the commitments above and rights you have by law, the service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data, or for what third-party directories do, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they apply. If you keep using Dirz after that, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and its courts have jurisdiction, without removing any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
